BAMS course offerings are generally seasonal, and the recommended plan of study is designed with the 1st Trimester in mind. Starting in a term other than the 1st Trimester of every year may result in unnecessary gaps in your plan of study, which can then affect your chances of qualifying for Latin Honors or cause you to go past your Maximum Residency Requirement.
Because of this, the most optimal way to follow the BAMS program is to start taking courses in the 1st Trimester of each academic year, particularly if you intend to be a full-time student. Successfully following a plan of study such as this would allow you to finish the degree in four years.
